The manufacturer behind MMT Acoustix® and seven more acoustic brands
Mahabir Multi Tech Private Limited (MMTPL) manufactures acoustic and soundproofing solutions across eight brands from its Palwal facility in Haryana, serving India and 25+ export markets. Manufactured in Palwal, India and supplied to Nepal with strong logistics.
Who we are
Four generations of understanding materials
What started as a single automobile spare-parts shop in Agra in 1968 moved into polyurethane foam manufacturing in 1973, into acoustics in 2003, and into building and commercial soundproofing with the launch of MMT Acoustix® in 2014.
The family has carried one idea through every generation, from Mahabir Prasad Jain to S. K. Jain, Ritu Jain and Sonit Jain: if you understand a material deeply enough, you can create something more valuable from it.
Today the company is led by Sonit Jain (CEO) with Directors S. K. Jain and Ritu Jain.

Our journey
From Agra to 25+ countries
- 1968
A single automobile spare-parts shop is established in Agra.
- 1973
Moves from trading to manufacturing polyurethane foam; starts two-wheeler and cycle saddle cover production.
- 1979
Becomes ancillary saddle manufacturer to Hero Cycles.
- 1980
Expands to around 200 sewing machines.
- 1986
Relocates to New Delhi and sets up base in Karol Bagh.
- 1991
Starts Indian air-filtration media production from imported Belgian and UK materials.
- 1995
Becomes OEM supplier to Varroc and Kiran Udyog.
- 2003
Enters acoustic foam manufacturing and becomes a major supplier to the genset sector.
- 2014
Launches the MMT Acoustix® brand and expands into project supply and direct sales.
- 2017
Introduces Echsorbix® PET acoustic felt.
- 2018
Launches SoundaXe® architectural timber acoustics.
- 2019
Releases SoundBlanket® mass loaded vinyl.
- 2020
Introduces Vindo® acoustic curtains.

Launches BassBloc® low-frequency absorbers.
